A building, electrical, gas, mechanical or plumbing permit shall carry with it the
right to construct or install the work, provided the same are shown on the drawings
and set forth in the specifications filed with the application for the permit. Where
these are not shown on the drawings and covered by the specifications submitted with
the application, separate permits shall be required.
(b)
All electrical permits must be obtained and work performed by an electrician licensed
in this state or licensed as a city master electrician. All other construction-related
licenses required by this chapter or by state law must be issued by this state to
be acceptable for purposes of obtaining city building permits.
