§ 10-208. Notice of readiness for inspection; time within which inspection shall occur.

Upon completion of any construction or installation that is required to be inspected, the owner or contractor shall notify the building inspector that the work is ready for inspection. The building inspector shall then cause inspection to be made within five business days from the time of receipt of notification (exclusive of Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays). If no notice is provided by the owner or contractor for required inspections, the building inspector may pursue all remedies provided in this chapter for chapter violations specifically including, but not limited to, issuance of stop work orders.
