§ 16-23. Established; mayor as director; appointment of coordinator.

The city has established an operational emergency management program as provided in this article and as permitted and required by law, to be administered under the office of emergency management. The office of emergency management director of the city shall be held by the mayor in accordance with state law. An emergency management coordinator may be appointed by and serve at the pleasure of the director.
