Article II. OPERATIONAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT PROGRAM |
§ 16-28. Interjurisdictional program.
The city has entered into an interjurisdictional emergency management program with the county and other municipalities, and the mayor is authorized to enter into other agreements with the county and neighboring municipalities for those purposes. Designated city personnel are also authorized to cooperate in the preparation and maintenance of an interjurisdictional emergency management program and in the appointment of a joint emergency management coordinator. Designated city personnel are also authorized to participate in countywide emergency management to the extent authorized herein or required or permitted by state law.
