§ 8-65. Additional time period for presentation of proof of vaccination.

If the owner redeeming an impounded animal does not have proof of rabies vaccination as required herein, the owner may be granted, at the discretion of the animal control officer, an additional ten days from the date the owner picked up their animal from the animal control shelter to provide proof of rabies vaccination by a recognized veterinarian.
